Center for Epidemiology and Healthcare Delivery Research
Learning health systems deliver high-value care by using the available evidence and health system data to tailor care delivery for local settings. This process is complicated in safety-net health systems because most of the available evidence is not based on populations with substantial barriers to care or settings with resource limitations. Relevant evidence often needs to be generated and innovative approaches must be developed to deliver high-value care. The Center for Epidemiology and Healthcare Delivery Research (CEHDR) partners with clinicians, operational teams, and health system leaders to improve data, evidence, and practice.
CEHDR investigators strengthen collection and use of the health-related data for clinical care research.
CEHDR investigators use data to generate evidence about which interventions optimize health outcomes.
CEHDR investigators integrate evidence-based interventions into practice.
